The trek continues through several traditional Gurung and Magar villages, offering a glimpse into the local lifestyle.

Detailed Itinerary
Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu (1350m), you will be greeted by a representative from Mountain Treks Nepal who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure, preparing for the upcoming adventure.
Depart Kathmandu and embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara (820m). This journey will take you through beautiful landscapes and traditional villages. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you can relax by the lakeside or explore the vibrant city.
Start early and drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. From Nayapul, begin your trek with an ascent to Ghandruk (1940m), a beautiful Gurung village. Enjoy the traditional architecture and stunning views of the Annapurna range. Overnight in Ghandruk.
Trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani (2630m) through lush rhododendron forests. The trail offers excellent views of Machapuchare (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli. Overnight in Tadapani.
From Tadapani, continue trekking to Dobato (3420m). The trail takes you through dense forests and open meadows, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Overnight in Dobato.
Trek from Dobato to Khopra Danda (3660m), where you’ll stay at the community lodge. The ridge offers panoramic views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, and Nilgiri. Overnight at Khopra Ridge.
Today is dedicated to exploring Khopra Danda. You can take a day hike to Khayer Lake (4500m), a sacred lake with stunning surroundings. The hike provides an opportunity to immerse in the natural beauty and spiritual significance of the area. Overnight at Khopra Ridge.
Begin your descent from Khopra Danda to Swanta Village (2270m). The trail offers beautiful views and passes through terraced fields and traditional settlements. Overnight in Swanta Village.
Continue trekking from Swanta Village to Ghorepani (2860m), famous for its sunrise viewpoint at Poon Hill. Upon arrival, you can explore the village and prepare for the early morning hike. Overnight in Ghorepani.
Wake up early for a hike to Poon Hill (3210m) to catch the sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After returning to Ghorepani, trek down to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
Depending on your preference, either drive or fly back to Kathmandu (1350m). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure, allowing you to explore more of Kathmandu or do some last-minute shopping. Overnight in Kathmandu.
On your final day in Nepal, you will have some free time depending on your flight schedule. A representative from Mountain Treks Nepal will transfer you to Tribhuwan International Airport for your departure. This marks the end of your unforgettable Khopra Danda Trek.
