Mountain Treks Nepal has been organizing 6 Days 5 Nights Bhutan Tour program which is an adventurous journey. This 6 Days 5 Nights Bhutan Tour cover most of the best part of Bhutan. So it will provide you good memories. The tour covers some cities of Bhutan i.e. Paro, Thimpu, Punakha, and Gangtey. During the tour to Paro, you may get the opportunity to visit farmhouses and interact with the local people and experience rural life.
6 Days 5 Nights Bhutan Tour include
On the first day fly to Paro and travel to your hotel. After checking into the hotel in Paro we will take you for sightseeing. The sightseeing includes Farmhouses, Kyichu temple, and Rinpung Dzong. And during evening time you can stroll around Paro town and visit local Bhutanese handicraft stores. Dinner will be arranged at the hotel in Paro.
On the second day, we will take you to Thimphu after breakfast. On the way, you visit Tachog Lhakhang (temple) which is on the base of a mountain. After crossing Chunzon the drive will take you along the Thimphu river to Thimphu valley. Then checking into the hotel. After that, you will take a tour around Thimphu city. We will take you to the Bhutan Postal Museum, National Textile Museum, School of Traditional Painting of Arts and Crafts, and Folk Heritage Museum. After lunch, we will take you to Tango Monastery which lies north of Thimpu city. After visiting the monastery, back to Thimphu and overnight at hotel in Thimphu.
On the third day of the trip after breakfast, you will travel to Punakha and Wangdue. During spring season the sky will be clear and view the beautiful Himalayan mountain ranges. You will visit Druk Wangyal Lhakhang (monastery) built by the Queen Mother of Bhutan. Then travel onto Punakha. In Punakha, you can view Punakha Dzong, Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Lhakhang, and Devine Madman’s Monastery-Chhimi Lhakhang. Visit the temple and enjoy the beautiful view of that place, and overnight at hotel.
On the fourth day, you will take a tour around Punakha to Thimphu. On this day you will visit Takin Preserve, Tashichhoe Dzong, National Memorial Chorten and Craft Bazaar. Dinner and overnight at the hotel of Thimpu.
On the fifth day of the tour, we will drive to Paro and hike up to Taktsang Monastery. The hike to Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang Monastery) will be the highlight of Bhutan trip. We will have a beautiful view from there. And after that, we will walk back to the road and drive up to Paro valley. At last, we will visit Drukgyel Dzong and stay overnight at Paro.
On the last day of the trip, we will depart from Paro to Kathmandu.
